On April 18, 2009 in Moab, Utah 120 family members gathered together at the accident site of our loved ones and a beautiful monument was dedicated to all 10 individuals who died in the plane accident on August 22, 2008. A depression in the hill where the plane made it's initial impact and the spot which everyone was instantly killed was where the monument was placed. I was not prepared for the emotions felt when I saw the crash site for the first time. The feeling around the accident was almost sacred. Scars from the plane skidding across the desert was still evident and I found a piece of yellow tape left behind. The plaque on the monument reads:
THIS SITE IS HALLOWED GROUND
DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY
OF THE TEN PROFESSIONALS
WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN A
PLANE ACCIDENT ON
AUGUST 22, 2008
AFTER PROVIDING MEDICAL
SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS
OF THIS REGION.

I heard about his on the news. What a special tribute and way to remember those who lost their lives in such a tragic way.
Hi Sherri,
Thank you for posting these photos and the monument dedication. We think this is a wonderful way to pay tribute to Lansing, Dallen and all who were taken to heaven so early that day.
Marc and I would like to take a drive to Moab to see the monument dedication. We are hoping to be able to do that very soon.
<3 Love you guys!
