This afternoon we attended the live broadcast, at our Stake Center, of the Draper Temple dedication. The theme that began to form from each person who spoke was that visiting the temple regularly brings a sense of peace and spiritual strength when there are so many challenges we face on a daily basis. Looks like another beautiful temple. I remember years ago when we lived in Utah my husband and his friend were hunting up in those hills in Draper and they kinda got lost. They finally found their way out but at that time there were NO houses or anything there. Now look at all of the homes and now a Temple. Wow!! I guess thats what they call progress.
Yes, thanks for posting. I needed that insight. It is nice to remember why we are here and to keep trying and to endure the day to day things. I wish we could have attended the Temple Dedication. I heard it was so wonderful. I am so glad you got to go. Sounds like the concert last night was way too fun! Good for you. I can just picture you and Taylor rockin out and having a good time! What fun mom and daughter dates you guys have been doing! You are such a good mom and inspiration to me. Sometimes I am lost on what my girls need most,we get some caught up in or day to day drama. thanks for the reminder to have some one on one time with them.
We are looking forward to 3 new temple in AZ!
