Derek's birthday party with friends: Randon, Cash, Bodee and Christian right before heading off to "Laser Mania"! Derek is finally 12 years old - it's pretty important and significant for Derek to turn 12 - so many experiences and opportunities lay ahead. He is now an official "Boy Scout", he gets to attend the "Young Men's" program, he is now referred to as a "tween" and most importantly he will receive the Aaronic Priesthood and be able to pass the sacrament! Derek is a wonderful son and more importantly, he is a loving brother to Taylor and Tanner. Derek seeks out good friends, wants to make a ton of money, is incredible in soccer, basketball and baseball, he is smart and extremely kind. We are blessed to have him in our family. We love you!
